Antique Leather Book With Sampler Binding The smallest of the antique leather books I've recently made sampler bindings for
is probably the most well known, "Pilgrim's Progress," by John Bunyan. It is not dated, but is 19th Century.
I've cross stitched a partial alphabet binding to look as if it has been cut from a larger sampler, so the letters don't
run consecutively. There is also a date 1822 and two hearts. The book measures 6" by 4." $54.00 Includes Priority

Leather Book With Sampler Binding I've based this leather book with a sampler binding on one I saw in Ohio a few
years ago, that had an antique sampler repair. I've used an early leather book titled, "The Humorists, A Medley"
dated 1822 that had a broken leather cover, and repaired it using a sampler I stitched with a partial alphabet, a cross, a

Leather Book with Strawberry Cross Stitched Binding Using an antique leather book with a broken spine, I've repaired it with archival materials
and attached a cross stitched panel to cover the repair. The book is dated 1800, titled, "Family Secrets, Literary
and Domestic." The leather cover has a unique grained appearance. The book measures 7 1/4"
by 4 5/8." The cross stitch design is a running strawberry vine with a zigzag border done in faded red and variegated
