LARGE 19TH C. OYSTER WHITE BUTTOCKS BASKET This is fresh out of a Maine barn, very large and heavy, at
approx. 16" diameter. Early worn paint, has best untouched patina
and color! Nice worn handle, a few small breaks at rim (but hard to
notice with paint), very stable handle and a couple of large square nails.
Light early varnish that is also original/ but mellowed now. Truly a wonderful find--the best painted basket I have come
across in a long time! $295 plus $18 ship.

EARLY FOLKY PAINTED GARDEN BOX Most
charming box I have ever seen, all original hand painted, circa 1940's, sage green base color, with best
folky paintings of basket of vegetables, dragonflies, caterpillars, etc. Perfect vintage
condition, measures 15 1/2"L x 16" T x 7" D. Lid comes off for storage of garden
tools, etc. Carved handles on side panels for carrying. Reminds me of Peter Hunt type charm

EARLY LARGE 19TH C. AMISH VELVET CAT This is a great and large sized Amish velvet kitty in the best colors and condition! He stands approx. 12" tall, 12 1/2" long, not counting his long tail. Condition is good with only his two little ears have been repaired long ago, but intact and original. This circa 1870's kitty cat has his original glass button eyes, and embroidered features on face. WONDERFUL VINTAGE FUDGE SIGN Found this recent sign in York, Maine--was used in the '60's for a shop by the ocean! Measures
36" long x 9 1/4" tall, 1/2" thick. Excellent
condition, nice original patina and colors!
Cream white background, soft "coral" red
letters with a yellow pin-stripe around the border's
edge that is bevelled, in it's carved construction.

C. MAKE-DO LARGE BUTTER STAMP This is a wonderful early find, fresh from a Maine attic, a make-do
repaired large butter stamp! The outside shell has early metal staples, best darkened oxidation
and the plunger stamp has the most charming acorn and leaf design--very well done! This is a
1 pound butter stamp, and it stands approx. 6" tall and has a diameter of 4 3/4" wide at bottom.
Rare to find a great Make-Do primitive--lovely scrubbed original pine surface--would make a great addition to

early 1930's quilt made entirely from early cotton feedsack fabrics! A lightweight quilt, there
is no batting and is tied instead of quilted. No stains or problems, nice and bright-clean and
