Early Make Do Candle Light with a holder. The makedo candle is absolutely wonderful. It measures 7 1/2
inches with the candle and 4 1/2 without the candle. The candle cup is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and the base is two
inches in diameter. The shelf or holder has canted sides. Square nail construction and dates to the 1860's - 1880's. The shelf
is pine with original surface. A great display shelf and may have had a practical use of keeping drafts from the candle light.
What a great country primitive look. The shelf measures 9 1/2 inches wide at the widest point, 7 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches
deep. You will love this pair. $325

Folk Art Drawing, Sarah, Fraktur dtd. 1856 A wonderful, early fraktur, drawing for Sarah. Done in colored
pencil. Sarah’s name is centered within a heart. with birds a flowers around it. Charming and naive. On the back
it reads, To Sarah, In future years when turning to survey, the sacred joys of many a happy day. If ere this page should meet
thine eye. Pause ere you turn the leaf and swiftly lend of recolection of your dear friend. Sandwich August 11th. 1856.

Ed Ghering’s Cows, oil on board, farm,
pasture, original oil on board, Joanne Getz This painting is named “Ed Ghering’s cows”. These cows live just a mile south of Harbor Beach,
Mi. Everytime I drive by this area these cows are there eating. They look so great just staring down at you the way cows
do. I had to paint them, I am glad I did because the owner cleaned the whole area up. Now it is nothing but an empty field.

Wonderfully Aged Log Cabin Quilt
This great log cabin quilt in maroons and blues has faded nicely over many years of use. A thick quilt it measures
72" square and if you look closely you can see a slightly faded line down the middle from being folded. It is barely

original dry surface. It is a piece of hollow out wood and has 2 long knockers attached. When you 'ring' the bell, it sounds
